Biography

Hans G. Schellenberger was born in 1946 in a little town named Anrath near Düsseldorf at the lower Rhine river in Germany.
The moisty climate in this region persuades him early to paint watercolours in the free nature.

At the Art schools in Krefeld and later in Düsseldorf his education in art began – firstly in graphic arts design.

After the 4th semester the smell of oilpaint and turpentine finally convinced him and he changed over to the "State Academy of Art" in Stuttgart where he took his studies in painting from the year 1969 until 1974.
