There are enough pharmacies (Farmacias) on the island and you can recognize them easily through their green cross.
The medicals (same as everywhere) are pretty cheap (from a german standpoint) than somewhere else.

If you have an very urgent receipy from your doctor and the pharmacies are already closed you can ask the "Guardia Civil" - they will show you (or take you!) the way to the next pharmacy which has a night service resp. they'll help you to get your medicine a.s.a.p. A really nice service from the Guardia Civil!
When needed you can consult any doctor on the island. Most of them speak spanish, english and some also german.
